Stoke Road Blisworth

What’s happening: On behalf of West Northamptonshire Council, Kier Highways will soon be undertaking essential carriageway strengthening works on Stoke Road. This is to ensure the structural stability of the carriageway and stabilise the adjacent embankment. The works will also include some carriageway resurfacing and installation of vehicle restraint barrier.

Where: Stoke Road, Blisworth.

When: Monday 15th April – Friday 5th July 2024 Times: 24/7 Closure. Working hours Monday – Saturday 08:00 – 17:00.

How long: 12 Weeks

Notification of ongoing essential maintenance works - A45 M1 junction 15 to Wilby Way Safety Barrier Works
 
When will the work take place?
 
We'll work overnight between 20:00 and 06:00 from Wednesday 29th April 2024 to 3rd May 2024, we'll be working southbound on the A45 at Queen Eleanor Roundabout.
 
How will the work affect businesses and residents?
 
In order to carry out this work safely, we'll be working under full closures
of the southbound carriageway.
 
The diversion during these works will be to stay on the nearside lane of the
A45, but to proceed up and over the Queens Eleanor roundabout.
 
We'll make every effort to ensure the impact on the local community and
travelling public is kept to a minimum. We always aim to work to the
programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions  may mean changes.

Towcester Road, Northampton

What:

Carriageway resurfacing, installation of road markings and resetting ironwork. Where: Towcester Road, Northampton between Danes Camp Way/Mereway roundabout up to and including Clannell Road junction.

When:

Monday 29th – Tuesday 30th April Traffic Management: The road will be closed from 20:00pm-6:00am, and a diversion route will be in place as shown below: The RED line shows the extent of the closure, and the BLUE line shows the diversion routes.

Working Hours:

20:00pm - 06:00am Emergency Vehicles: Emergency vehicles will need to follow the signed diversion route while the closure is in place. Pedestrians and Cyclists: They will be routed around the works using on site pedestrian marshals. Public Transport: There will be no bus services through the closure.

Residents/Businesses:

Residents and businesses will have access at all times during the works however please be aware that there will be no through route. Please allow extra time for your journey during the above dates and times.
